If you want to remove all permissions to contact support for your account, you can revoke the support passphrase.
|
This does not affect the billing account contact. Billing account contacts may contact support without a passphrase. |
Revoking a Passphrase
Follow these steps to revoke your account’s passphrase.
|
Please note that once a passphrase has been revoked, that specific passphrase cannot be reset to its original value. You can still generate a new passphrase, but the passphrase cannot be rolled back to previous passphrases. |
Choose the tutorial that reflects your ACC interface type:
Not sure what the difference is? See Which ACC Interface Am I Using?
If you are using the Legacy Interface:
- Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
- Click Billing in the left sidebar, then click Billing Summary in the drop-down
- Next to Support Passphrase, click the Revoke button
- On the next page, click the Revoke Passphrase button
If you are using the New ACC Interface:
-
- Log in to the Account Control Center (ACC) at my.pair.com
- Click on your username in the top right corner
- In the drop-down, click Billing
-
Next to Support Passphrase, click the
Revoke Passphrase icon
- Click the Revoke Passphrase button to confirm
The passphrase feature will be turned off and no one will be able to access our support team or authorize changes besides the billing account contact. You can turn the passphrase feature back on at any point, but a new passphrase will be generated and will need to be given out.
