A “domain” is another word for the URL your site uses, like pair.com or libsyn.com. This article outlines how to add a domain to Podcast Websites accounts. If you are using a different account, see our other articles:
Step 1: Register a Domain
The first step is to register your domain.
Already have a registered domain? You can skip to Step 2: Add a Domain to Your Website.
Domain registrations last a year or more, and allow you to use the domain for that length of time. If your registration expires, you will lose access to the domain and someone else may register it.

Step 3: Point Name Servers to Your Account
Next, you need to change the name servers for your domain. When a domain is first registered, it is given filler name servers. However, when you add a domain name to a hosting account, you need to change the name servers to the ones associated with the hosting server. To make this change, you will need to go to your domain registrar.
If you completed Step 1 of this tutorial, then your domain registrar is Pair Domains. Find the steps to changing your name services in this article: Changing Name Servers.
Each registrar is different, so look at your registrar’s documentation for the specific steps.
Give the changes 24 to 48 hours to be processed. After this period of time, your domain should be successfully added and ready to host a website.
